The HP coaches were very impressed with Emily’s drive and resilience during the month of December. Emily handled adversity and challenge like a champion! Her ability to adapt to change and move forward with a positive attitude really stood out.

Juliet is a member of our 12U Red team. Juliet is an incredibly hardworking and dedicated athlete, and her commitment is evident both in and out of the pool. The progress she continues to show speaks for itself and reflects the effort she puts in beyond her regular practices. All of her coaches, Diana, Lola, and Nicole are very impressed with her dedication. Juliet is also a fantastic teammate, always ready to help with lifts and support those around her.

Maddy G is a member of our 12U Green team. Maddy always comes to practice with a wonderful positive attitude! She works hard in both land and water portions of each practice. She consistently tries her best to improve, which shows in her sculling and verticals. Maddy enjoys working with her teammates on their routine, and has made great strides in learning all the movements and counts.

Agata is a member of our 10U RL Yellow team. Agata is an incredibly positive and dedicated synchronized swimmer who always gives her best at every practice. Avery is a member of our 12U White team.
Avery comes to every practice ready to learn and consistently gives her best effort. She picks up new skills quickly and is always one of the first to try new hybrids and routine changes. Avery is determined to improve and often asks for feedback so she can keep getting better.

Coach Nicole saya Avery has made huge improvements in both her splits and her swimming endurance. Her focus, work ethic, and positive attitude make her a pleasure to coach. Way to go, Avery!

Sabine is a member of our Youth team. Sabine has really impressed Coaches Cherry and Kate since the the start of the season. As she is a second year Youth swimmer, she has taken to showing her fellow teammates the ropes, always jumping in to explain the new figures or demonstrate a skill.

Sabine is always up for a challenge, trying new moves on the difficulty chart and fixing corrections quickly. In her figures, her stability has improved so much since last year. Her coaches are very very proud of her cannot wait to see what she will do this year.

Luna is a member of our 10U Blue team. Luna has shown incredible growth for her first year EVER doing artistic swimming. She has been able to pick up challenging skills quickly, and even made her first under recently! Luna always shows up to practice with a great attitude and ready to get in the water. She listens to corrections when learning new figures or counts and applies them straight away. Her improvement from the beginning to the season to now has been incredible to watch and Coach Julianna can’t wait to see how her skills develop throughout the rest of the year.

Our HP Athlete of the Month for September is Kaylie.

Kaylie is a member of our Youth HP team. Throughout September, Kaylie has exemplified many of the behaviours we look for in a high performer such as consistent effort, attention to instructions and details, willingness to make mistakes and try again. She trusts the long term plan for her development and has a positive attitude. She is a great teammate with strong focus and determination. On top of these qualities, Kaylie has greatly improved her height and swimming speed this month.
