Pre-Competitive and Recreational Program Director

Vanessa began coaching in 2000. She joined the Olympium staff in 2012, starting out as the Evening Program Director and now moving into her new role as the Pre-Competitive and Recreational Program Director. Vanessa has seven years experience as head coach of the Brant Synchro Club. She has coached at all levels and age groups. She has also worked for Synchro Ontario at many of their High Performance Camps and travelled with Team Ontario on various occasions.

Vanessa has completed her first year of her Level Four at the National Coaching Institute and is a Level One judge.

In addition to coaching, Vanessa swam Masters for seven years while attending three FINA Master’s Worlds Championships.

Vanessa is either busy at the pool with our swimmers or busy at home with her three young daughters, all who have become little fish as well!
