Regional League

OLYM’s Regional League (formally known as Pre-Competitive program) allows swimmers to improve their swimming abilities, flexibility, and fundamental swimming skills, while introducing them to the competitive side of artistic swimming.

Our program is well suited for swimmers that love trying new moves in the water, are comfortable in the deep end and like a challenge. No experience is necessary.

Each practice includes both training on land and in the water. Our Regional League is designed as a stepping stone to move into either our Competitive or High Performance programs. Swimmers can develop the necessary Artistic Swimming skills over one or two years, so that they can confidently transition into the next level.

All training and competition information will be posted in your TeamSnap calendars as we get the information. We ask that you look over the entire yearly calendar when you receive it so that you are informed. There is no training over major holidays or March Break. Athletes will have the opportunity to compete at 2-3 competitions over the course of the year in the Regional League, and they will also participate in our Holiday and Spring Water Shows.

Please email Head Coach Amy at headcoach@olympiumartswim.ca to get a copy of the Regional League handbook and fees & commitments documents prior to registering. These documents outline all details of the club and your commitments for the program.

Additional Registration Details – You must register with a platform called Interpodia/H2O PRIOR to the start of classes.  Information will be sent at the beginning of September.  This is separate from our club registration through TeamSnap.  Interpodia/H2O registration is to have your Ontario Artistic Swimming (OAS) membership issued and to be covered under insurance.  It is extremely important that all athletes be registered.  There is a fee to register, and it will cover you from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026.
