SUMMER RECREATIONAL CAMP
August 19 – August 23, 2024
Children will enjoy an introduction to the exciting sport of artistic swimming. They will work on foundational skills both in the water and on land. Skills such as breathing techniques, coordination, yoga and flexibility, while at the same time seeing what it’s like to work as part of a team. There is also downtime to have fun and recharge by playing games and completing arts & crafts.
Half day – 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. – $175
Swimmers must be ages 6 to 8 years old (born 2016-2018) in order to register for half day.
Full day – 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – $350
Swimmers must be ages 8 to 11 years old (born 2013 – 2016) in order to register for full day.

SUMMER COMPETITIVE CAMP
August 19- August 23, 2024
Our coaches bring a lot of experience and fun to our annual camp. The camp includes a good balance between land and pool time each day. Pool time will have a focus on conditioning, fundamental skills, figure skills, routine skills and development and there is a show at the end of camp. Land time will have a focus on strength, flexibility, coordination and fun. The camp also offers the athletes the opportunity to work with experts such as diving, water polo, dance, cheerleading, and yoga.
The 10U Camp is best suited for athletes who have been part of our club’s Pre-Competitive and Rec programs, and who are looking to move to Competitive for the 2024-25 season.
The 11+ Camp is for Competitive athletes from our club and from other clubs who are looking to get back in to synchro ahead of the start of the season.
Competitive 10&U (Born 2015 – 2017)
Full day – 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – $350
Competitive 11+ (Born 2007 – 2014)
Full day – 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. – $395

SUMMER PROGRAM RECREATIONAL
July 2 – August 1, 2024 | 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Children will enjoy engaging in artistic swimming skills such as swimming (breathing and coordination), dry land training (dance, yoga and flexibility) and practice being part of a team.
Swimmers must be between the ages of 6 & 11 to register.
Tuesdays & Thursdays – $350
Thursdays only – $200

Summer Program Details
After you register, your child’s full schedule will be posted in the calendar on TeamSnap. TeamSnap is a web and mobile service that our club uses in order for each team to view their schedule, and also communicate with their coaches and other team parents.
What you’ll need?
- Yoga mat or towel to stretch on
- Bathing suit ( one piece preffered but not necessary)
- Goggles
- Nose Plug (coaches prefer metal ones, which are available for purchase at swim or sports stores such as Splashables or even Amazon)
- Lunch (only necessary for full day camp)
- Healthy snacks
- Water bottle
- Running shoes
FAQ
Q: What do I need to know about the registration process?
Programs must meet minimum registration numbers in order to run. If a class is cancelled due to low registration then you will receive a full refund, or you will also be given the opportunity to join another class if there is availability.
Q: Are there any extra costs that I should know about?
Besides registration the only things you may have to pay additionally for are the list of required items you need for class, should you not already have any of them.
Q: What happens if my class gets cancelled?
- If classes are cancelled due to a lockdown, permit cancellation, Public Health changes, the cancelled practices will transfer to a club credit that can be used towards any future programming.
Q: What if I want to withdraw my child from classes?
If you wish to withdraw your child before programming start you will receive a full refund, minus a $25 administrative fee. If after the first day of programming you choose to withdraw your child, your refund will be prorated. Withdrawals after that time will not receive a refund.
Q: What if my child misses a class?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide makeup classes for any reason.
Q: How do I know which class I should register my child for?
Typically we suggest that you register your child based on their age, but consideration can be made for swimmers based on a higher or lower skill level. Contact us for an evaluation or free trial class. Swimmers should feel confident jumping into deep water on their own.
All NEW recreational athletes will need to also register with Ontario Artistic Swimming through a platform called H2O – this registration will cover all documents, waivers and an athlete fee and will get the athlete insured. The cost for new athletes is approximately $8.
Note: H2O Memberships are valid from Sept 1, 2023 to Aug 31, 2024. If you have purchased a membership between those dates, no action is required.
