January HP Athlete of the Month is Jojo!

Our January Athlete of the Month for HP is Jojo!

Jojo is a member of our Junior team.  Jojo is recognized by her coaches for her consistent effort both within the daily training environment and outside of the pool. She is the first one to jump in the water and always ready to work hard. She has excellent time management skills. She is able to juggle school, multiple sports, and being a teenager, while constantly putting in the work to improve in all areas, including her mental game.

December HP Athlete of the Month is Kezia!

Our HP Athlete of the Month for December is Kezia.

Kezia is a member of our Junior team.  She stood out this past month to the coaches as being very committed and driven to improve. She is able to recognize her strengths and weaknesses and consistently works on each of them, both in and out of the water.

Congratulations on your efforts Kezia! Keep up the great work.

November HP Athlete of the Month is Kaylie!

Our HP Athlete of the Month for November is Kaylie.

Kaylie Honig is a member of our 12U HP team.  Coach Nicola says that Kaylie has been working very hard this fall to improve on her skills and almost has a leg of splits flat!

October HP Athlete of the Month is Naomi!

Our HP Athlete of the Month for October is Naomi.

We are so glad to have Naomi join our Club and 13-15’s HP team!  All of the HP coaches have noticed Naomi’s desire to learn and improve while being a positive and engaged teammate. We enjoy watching Naomi’s daily progress in the pool and good laughs with her new friends 🙂

September HP Athlete of the Month is Georgia!

Our HP Athlete of the Month for September is Georgia.

We are lucky to have Georgia’s contagious energy on the deck every day! The HP coaches have noticed her going out of her way to make all athletes feel included this month. She shows great leadership and sportsmanship.

May HP Athlete of the Month is Lauren!

Our HP Athlete for the Month for May is Lauren.

The HP coaches are recognizing Lauren for her outstanding mental and leadership skills. Lauren showed her best abilities in every meet in May.  She placed 1st in 13-15 figures at Ontario Champs and 7th in Duet Finals at National Championships in Quebec City!
Lauren is a compassionate, funny and  amazing teammate.  She always gives her best to her 13-15 SURVIVORS team, which helped the team win 4th place at National Championships in Quebec City.
“Survivors” are going to miss her a lot, as she moves up to Junior next year.

April HP Athlete of the Month is Jojo!

Jocelyn (Jojo) is our April  HP athlete of the month.

Every coach and many club mates have noticed Jojo’s amazing improvement to her eggbeater height this month. She is self-motivated and has a very strong work ethic. Her determination to improve both her synchro skills and mental game this month has been unmatched.
Congratulations Jojo, keep up the great work!!!

March HP Athlete of the Month is Genevieve!

Our HP Athlete of the Month for March is Genevieve.

The HP coaches have been very impressed with Genevieve’s work ethic and determination this past month. Coach Claire says that Genevieve has been taking on a leadership role within the team, and has remembered all our “10” moments! Genevieve has also been really pushing herself to improve eggbeater and vertical holds.
Way to go Genevieve – keep up the great work!

February HP Athlete of the Month is Carly!

Our HP Athlete of the Month for February is Carly!

Carly is a member of our 13-15’s team.  The HP coaches agree that Carly has excellent work ethic and always shows tremendous effort in everything she does at practice. Her improvement is unbelievable over the past month!
Keep it up Carly – we can’t wait to see your performances and your beautiful smiles Leslie Taylor Cup!

January HP Athlete of the Month is Kadia!

Our January Athlete of the Month for HP is Kadia. 

Kadia is a member of our Junior team.  The HP coaches say that Kadia stood out during our online All-Stars competition in January. Her technical skills are very strong, both in and out of the water. She showed great leadership by sharing positive advice to club mates during a mental game talk. The coaches were very impressed with her mindset this past month.
