Our HP Athlete of the Month for October is Arianna!
Arianna has been working very hard this season, and is proving that hard work leads to great enjoyment of our sport and strong relations with her teammates and coaches! The HP coaches have also noticed an increase in technical skills such as height and presentation. Arianna is proving that COVID will not hold her back!
Congratulations Arianna – keep up the great work!!
Our Pre-Competitive Athlete of the Month for October is Livia!
Livia is on our 12U Blue team. Coach Rachel says that Livia has had a great start to the year! She shows up to every practice excited and ready to work hard. Livia is always listening and has a great attitude towards everything she does at practice. She is always ready to learn new skills and tries to improve every practice.
Way to go, Livia!
Our Competitive Athlete of the Month for October is Melaniya!
Melaniya is on our 12U Purple team. Coach Ryleigh says that Melaniya’s dedication and hard work produced amazing results in the dry land competition in October, and the improvements have been amazing to see. In the water, Melaniya is focused, eager to learn, and she pushes herself to become a better athlete.
Way to go, Melaniya!
Our Competitive Athlete of the Month for September is Andrea Calija.
Andrea is new to our Competitive program this season, after making the jump from Pre-Competitive. Coaches Diana and Delaney say that Andrea is extremely organized during in person and virtual practices. If there is ever a waiting period during the Virtual practice, Andrea is always seen practicing her Early Bird testing skills! Her coaches Diana and Delaney are very proud of her effort and progress!
Great job Andrea!
Our HP Athlete of the Month for September is Sophiya Cashmore.
Sophiya has demonstrated a strong work ethic in September, and all of the HP coaches have seen a big improvement especially in her Dryland skills. Sophiya has also been an excellent team mate supporting her fellow HP athletes.

The Ontario Artistic Swimming Association has released its final framework for returning to the pool. The focus remains on the health and safety of all participants in our sport as we move forward in partnership with our membership. It rests with all of us to be vigilant and mindful in assessing the risks and adhering to appropriate health and safety protocols in order to minimize those risks and to keep each other safe from COVID-19. Our HP Athlete of the Month for May is Jessica Moran.
Jessica is on our 11-12 HP team. Coach Lola says Jessica is an incredible athlete and is very funny. Jessica placed 6th in solo at Trillium Championships, and with her duet partner, Lauren Smith, became 12U Duet Champions! Jessica has made big strides in her mental game this year, and she performed like a true fighter at Trilliums – that made Coach Lola very proud.
Way to go, Jessica!
Our Competitive Athlete of the Month is Kaia Dodge.
Kaia worked extremely hard in preparation for Trillium Championships at the end of May. Coach Diana says that Kaia continuously asked how to improve her figures and routine leading it to the competition. In addition, Kaia has been giving more than 100% at every practice in May. She has been a great role model for her whole team!
