Claire Caskey

This will mark my third year as part of The Olympium coaching team!

I took my first dive into the world of synchronized swimming at the young age of 7 when I joined the evening program at Olympium Synchro. Over the years, I dedicated myself to the sport, progressing to compete on a national level.

During my competitive years, I achieved significant milestones. In 2011, I proudly earned a spot on the 13-15 National Team, followed by joining the Junior National Team in 2013. In 2014, my peak year before retiring from competitive swimming, my team and I clinched the Gold at Nationals. I also secured second place in Figures and the Combo routine, and a commendable third place in the solo category.

Representing Canada, I had the privilege of competing internationally in Italy and Puerto Rico. I also had the honor of competing for Team Ontario and Granite Synchro in destinations as diverse as Peru, Prague, and the USA.

Artistic swimming isn’t just a sport for me; it’s a lifelong passion. Even after retiring from competitive swimming, I continued to stay connected to the sport. Last summer, I had the incredible experience of swimming in Japan with our Master’s team at the World Aquatics Masters Championships, where we proudly claimed the Gold for our team.

Beyond my dedication to synchronized swimming, I currently hold a full-time position with the City of Toronto in Court Services.

I’m excited to bring my wealth of experience and passion for the sport to my coaching role at The Olympium for another successful year!
