Rachel Enns

Rachel is homegrown Olympium, having swam her way through recreational, pre-comp, provincial and HP. She’s spent the last few years in Ottawa coaching & swimming for both Nepean and Carleton University, alongside finishing her undergrad. She’s excited to be back with the Olympium family, and is looking forward to a fantastic season working alongside Cara and the rest of the coaching team.

Iryna Grebennikova

Iryna has more than 30 years coaching Artistic Swimming, and she has developed numerous athletes to the level of the senior national team. She is a specialist in acrobatics and technical development, and is a FINA A Level judge and LEN Referee.
After coaching Rythmic Gymnastics, Iryna went on to coach Artistic Swimming, starting a new club in the Donetsk Region. Iryna developed the club program and team, leading a program of 6 coaches and 120 swimmers. This team become the 2nd ranked team in Ukraine 🇺🇦. Every year, athletes from her club represented Ukraine at the European and World Championships. Three athletes from her club went on to represent Ukraine at the 2020 Olympic Games, winning a bronze medal!
Iryna started a new team in the Donetsk region and this team reached 3rd place at the National Championships after only 3 years.
A Ukrainian Junior National Team coach from 1997-2017, Iryna has assisted with the Ukrainian Junior National and 13-15 teams at the National team training centre in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Iryna has also been the National Team coach for Turkey.
It is very exciting to have this new focus and expertise in Canada and with our club! We are very lucky to have Iryna’s coaching in our morning HP program.

Lola Shnayder Mazour

Lola has been coaching Artistic Swimming for more than 20 years. She has coached a wide range of levels and age groups at various clubs in Canada and abroad. Her athletes achieved many podium finishes in Canadian and International competitions. Her coach philosophy is: “Aim high, Work smart”

Lola began her synchro career in Ukraine, former Soviet Union and competed till Junior National Level. After her studies for Bachelor of Physical Education and Sport Science at the Wingate Institute, she established Synchro Club which became over the years one of the largest and most successful clubs in the country.

Over the next 15 years, she was Head Coach of Ashdod Synchro Club and served as Israel National Team Coach at the Junior and Age Group levels.

Lola has been coaching at Olympium Artistic Swimming Club since 2016, in both High Performance and Competitive programs with Senior, Junior, 13-15’s, 12U athletes and Masters. She also provides Mentorship to support coaches by nurturing the technical, tactical, and mental skills needed to develop future athletes.

Lola is LEN(European) Judge certified since 1999, FINA Judge certified since 2011.

Beside Synchro for most of the time, Lola is “MOM on the wheels” for her own 4 kids:-)

Stephanie Breitigam

Stephanie first started coaching in 2001. Since then, she has coached a wide range of levels and age groups at various clubs throughout the province. In 2004, she initiated and developed the re-establishment of the Trent University Synchro Team, and competed with the team. She was the head coach of the Brant Synchro club for 3 years, and has been involved in multiple Synchro Ontario High Performance Camps. In 2013, Stephanie spent the summer developing a synchro camp, along with regular season programming for athletes on the island of Curacao. She is a provincial level judge, and continues to compete in the sport at the Masters level. She has attended 5 Fina Master’s World Championships over the years.

Steph continues to be involved in both the morning and evening programs. She will be coaching all HP programs along side our other HP coaches this season.

 

Amy Bush

Head Coach, OSSC

Amy has been coaching for 17 years, and has been coaching with the Olympium Artistic Swimming Club since 2008. Amy was named Head Coach in September 2021. Over the last 13 years, Amy has coached in both our High Performance and Competitive programs with the Junior and 12U athletes.
Amy began her synchro in Peterborough, Ontario with the Kawartha-Trent Synchro Club (KTSC). She moved to the Olympium Synchronized Swimming Club in 1994, and competed until 2004. Amy is a former Junior and Senior National Team member with the Canadian Team. She competed at 14 National Championships and 15+ International competitions including Junior World Championships (1995), two World Championships (2001 and 2003), World Cup (2002), and Pan Am Games (2003). Amy retired from competition in 2004.
At the volunteer level, Amy served as the Athlete’s Representative on the Ontario Artistic Swimming’s Board of Director’s from 2004 to 2012.
In June 2015, for her outstanding athletic achievements in the sport, Amy was inducted into the Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame as one of six new inductees for 2015.
