Marianna is a member of our 10U Competitive team. Her coaches have nominated Marianna because of her improvements in her splits! At every practice, she pushes herself to reach her flexibility goals, and takes the initiative to stretch on her own at home.

Xinya and Marissa represented OSSC and Team Ontario at the 2019 Canada Winter Games in Calgary/Red Deer, Alberta in February. They brought home a BRONZE medal in the team event!
Our February Athlete of the Month for Competitive is Alex Picket!
Alex is on our 11-12 Stampede team. Coaches Lola and Steph say that they are very impressed with Alex’s dedication, hard work and GREAT improvement in figures and routine at competitions. She is focused and efficient in helping to her teammates at practices.

Our February Athlete of the Month for Pre-Competitive is Ava Celio!
Ava is on our 12U Green team. Ava is very hard working and dedicated to her team. If she arrives early to practice, she will start warming up by herself and land drilling her routine with her teammates. Ava gives her all at every practice, while keeping a big smile on her face!

Our HP Athlete of the Month is Naomi Laroche!
Naomi is on our 13-15 Red team. Naomi joined OSSC this past fall. She comes from a speed swimming background, and had never done synchro before! The coaches are so impressed with how far she has come since September. Naomi is self-motivated and takes corrections very well. Her synchro specific skills have greatly improved and she is an excellent team mate.
Congratulations, Naomi. Keep up the great work!
